Tennis loses 7-0 to No. 53 Arkansas

The Ragin' Cajun men's tennis team fell to No. 53-ranked Arkansas 7-0 on Friday afternoon in Fayetteville, Ark.
For the Cajuns it was their second loss of the season against a ranked opponent.
Against Arkansas No. 81-ranked Christopher Nott beat Tomasz Krzyszkowski 6-4, 6-1, while Dmitry Lebedev took out Carlin Murray 7-5, 3-5, 1-0 (0-4) in singles play. Mathew Hogan gave up only three points to Yanick Mandl in a 6-0, 6-3 victory. Gregoire Lehman beat Piotr Olechowski 6-4, 6-2.
Neil Schneider went the distance with Nikolas Zogaj, but fell 6-1, 4-5, 6-1. At the No. 6 position Robert Voss lost to Matt Walters 6-1, 6-3.
In doubles Nott and Lebedev beat Murray and Olechowski 8-3, while Walters and Hogan took out Mandl and Schneider 8-6. Bradwi Williams and Taylor King beat the team of Voss and Tomasz Krzyszkowski 9-7 in a close match.
