SAN ANTONIO, Texas ? Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns men's tennis continued their winning ways Saturday afternoon taking a 4-1 decision over Texas-San Antonio at the UTSA Tennis Center. With the win, Louisiana collected its eighth straight victory.

The Cajuns (11-4) won two of the three doubles matches to earn the doubles point and take a 1-0 lead going into the singles portion.  The Cajuns doubles tandem of Arlen Domoney and Bradley Bristow defeated UTSA's team of Jorge Delgado and Daniel Moreiras 8-5 for a 1-0 doubles lead.

After UTSA (7-10) claimed the No. 1 doubles match, the Cajuns duo of Javier Pulgar and Neil Schneider defeated UTSA's Max Stratmann and Pedro Zanotelli 8-6 at doubles No. 2 to clinch the doubles point for Louisiana.

The Roadrunners quickly evened match at 1-all when Pedro Zanotelli defeated Piotr Olechowski 6-1, 6-4 in the No. 3 singles match.

Louisiana won the next three singles matches to reach four points and with only two matches left to finish it was mathematically impossible for UTSA to overtake UL.

Domoney's win at singles No. 5 gave the Ragin' Cajuns their fourth point of the dual match and capped off the score at 4-1.  He defeated UTSA's  Max Stratmann 6-4, 6-2.

The matches of Pulgar and Yanick Mandl were not going to be deciding factors in the match and were left unfinished due to Louisiana's need to travel and rest for their third match of the weekend on Sunday.

The Ragin' Cajuns will conclude their weekend in Texas on Sunday, March 29 as they face No. 47 Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at 2 p.m., at the Corpus Christi Country Club. UL has the opportunity to claim its first win over a ranked opponent this season and possibly move into the national rankings.
