Jestes Closes In On Record In Loss

Jestes' goal came too late for UL as the Panthers were able to grab a 2-0 lead after scoring back-to-back goals in the 30th and 32nd minute of the first half.
Jestes was able to put the Cajuns on the board after ripping a shot in the 50th minute from 10 yards out in front of the net.
The Panthers were able to put the game out of reach with another goal in the 63rd minute.
FIU's defense proved to be a formidable deterrent for the Cajuns, allowing UL to take only nine shots on the night. The Panthers were able to record 19 over their own.
Jestes was responsible for two of the Cajuns' five shots on goal.
Louisiana (0-12-1, 0-5 Sun Belt) will wrap up its trip in the Sunshine State with a match against Florida Atlantic. Kickoff is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. CT.
