M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field at Russo Park is one of the premier college baseball venues in Division I and has been the home of the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns since 1978. The stadium had an original capacity of 3,000.

The stadium was originally named in honor of the Moore family, but became officially known as M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field in 1995 after the passing of the late Marion Lartigue Moore, Jr. "Tigue" Moore, known as "Mr. Baseball" in Acadiana, was respected throughout the nation for his tireless work in promoting the game. He won the Roberto Clemente Humanitarian Award in 1975.

Not long after Moore Field opened in 1978, the field's namesake M.L. "Tigue" Moore, arranged for pine seedlings to be planted right behind and all the way around the outfield wall.

Russo Park has seen a number of renovations over the years. Bleacher seating was added to Moore Field in the early 1990s providing seating for fans behind both dugouts.

In January 2010, The "Tigue" transitioned from a natural grass surface to a ProGrass Sythentic Turf System with the only dirt on the field located on the pitcher's mound.

A new scoreboard and video board was added to Russo Park in 2013 allowing for player videos and stat updates throughout games.

The most notable renovation came after the 2016 season as the entire grandstand area and press box were removed to make way for an updated facility. Among the additions to Russo Park for the 2017 season were elevated grandstand seating, the Supreme Rice Field Club seating located directly behind the backstop, a club level, 10 luxury suites, a new pressbox and patio decks at the top of both the first and third base bleachers.
