High School: Two-time All-State selection for Pompano High, earning second team honors in Class 2A in 2004 and stepping up to a first team selection following a stellar season in 2005...Finished a six-game hurricane-shortened senior season with 58 catches for 937 yards and 10 touchdowns...Had 60 receptions for 1,008 yards and 12 scores as a junior, earning the first of two All-Broward County selections...Ranked fifth among wide receivers in the Miami metro area by the Miami Herald...Four-year starter at PHS under coach Vince Stephens...Team advanced to the second round of the Class 2A playoffs in his junior and senior season...Started on the basketball team and ran on the 4x100-meter relay team.

Personal: Full name is Verlin Leon Moore, Jr....Born on March 30, 1987...Son of Tracy Fleming...Has two younger sisters, Ambria and Carolyn...Majoring in criminal justice...Also a member of the Ragin' Cajuns football team.
