2019-20 (Freshman): Originally signed with IUPUI out of high school before transferring to Louisiana during the summer of 2019 after a coaching change ... received a waiver from the NCAA to play on date of season-opener against Loyola (11/5) and played in 24 games with six starts ... averaged 3.2 points, 1.3 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game ... made his debut against Loyola, scoring four points with three steals in eight minutes of play ... added seven points with two steals against McNeese (11/9) and played 24 minutes off the bench at TCU (11/12) ... inserted into the starting lineup against Troy (1/4) and responded with 12 points, three rebounds and three assists ... scored 12 points in a comeback victory two nights later at Appalachian State (1/6) before scoring nine points in games at Georgia State (1/9) and Georgia Southern (1/11) ... dished out season-high five assists in games against Georgia Southern and Texas State (1/18) ... had five points and four rebounds against UT Arlington (1/16) and six points and season-best five rebounds against Texas State.
High School: A MHSAA Class 5A first team all-state selection after averaging 21.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 3.0 steals in 2018-19 as a senior at Center Hill (Miss.) High ... led CHHS to a 31-3 record and the Mississippi Class 5A state title where he was named the game's MVP after scoring 24 points and grabbing eight boards ... was selected as USA Today’s Mississippi Player of the Year and was a first team pick on the Memphis Commercial Appeal’s All-Metro Team ... a two-time member on the Jackson Clarion Ledger's Dandy Dozen team, touting the top 12 players from across the state of Mississippi ... was named to the Dandy Dozen squad before the 2017-18 season at Olive Branch (Miss.) ... played his junior year at Aspire (Ky.)
