2020 Season (Junior)
The only Ragin’ Cajun to start in all 17 games…Smacked a home run while batting from the right side of the plate against Louisiana Tech (2/15/20)…Led the team with 10 runs, four stolen bases and 12 walks…Slashed .136/.320/.237 during the 2020 campaign…Best game at the plate came at Southeastern Louisiana (2/18/20) when he went 1-for-4 with a run, double, two RBI and two walks.
2019 Season (Sophomore)
Through 59 games Cantrelle slashed .309/.426/.504 and led the team with a .930 OPS… His batting average was good for third on the team, slugging was ranked fourth, and was second on the team in OBP…Hit nine bombs that went along with 31 RBI… Also paced the team and Sun Belt Conference in stolen bases with 28…Owned a 14-game hitting streak where he went 25-for-53 (.471) during that stretch tallying 6HR, 12RBI and a whopping 24 runs…Had one of the more incredible games of the season ripping three home runs against Little Rock…He finished that game with 5 Runs, 3HR, and 5RBI and became just the 10th player in program history with a three-home run game...Hit for the cycle against Northwestern State becoming the fourth Ragin' Cajun all-time to do so.
2018 Season (Freshman)
One of three Ragin’ Cajuns to start in all 59 games in 2018…Was third on the team in batting average at .287 (60-for-209)…Finished the season with 22 RBI, four home runs, two triples and 13 doubles…Earned LSWA Player of the Week honors in the final week of the season after posting a .571 average on with six extra base hits including two doubles, a triple and three home runs…Produced a 13-game hitting streak in the heart of the season…Recorded 16 multi-hit games on the season…Walked a team-high 40 times on the year…Tied a school record with five hits in an 11-2 victory over Texas State (5/11)…Scored three runs on the back of two hits in an 11-2 win over Georgia Southern (3/17)…Hit a home run in three-straight games to close out the regular season, all coming against in-state rivals ULM…One of those homers against ULM (5/17) was a walk-off winner in the 10th inning…Scored a season-high four runs in a 19-16 shootout over Little Rock in the first round of the Sun Belt Tournament…Member of the Sun Belt Academic Honor Roll.

Helped guide Teurlings Catholic High School to the 4A State championship game in 2015 and a state titles in 2016 and 2017...Became the first-ever Teurlings Catholic player to be drafted out of high school as he was selected in the 40th round of the MLB draft with the 1,202th overall pick by the New York Yankees...Named the Class 4A most valuable player as a senior after posting a .400 batting average with six home runs, 33 RBI, 49 runs, nine doubles and six triples and 18 stolen bases...On the mound, Cantrelle went 4-5 with a 2.53 ERA…Hit .398 with 45 runs, nine doubles, three triples, 29 RBI and 18 stolen bases as a junior earning 2016 Perfect Game Honorable Mention All-America honors as a junior...Was invited by the Miami Marlins to take place in the East Coast Pro Showcase this past summer...As a sophomore, Cantrelle hit .402 with 25 RBI. He has been named all-state and All-Acadiana in both 2015 and 2016...Also played quarterback on the Rebels football team and helped guide the squad to the Division II state semifinals in 2015 and state quarterfinals in 2016.
