2020 Season (Redshirt Senior)
Hit .250/.341/.278 in nine starts and 14 total games during 2020…Tallied a hit in eight of nine games going 9-for-28 (.321) that stretched from 2/18/20 until 3/6/20…His biggest hit of the season came against Sam Houston State (3/1/20) when he connected for a two-out bases load double which tied the game 4-4 in the fourth inning…Was one of five Ragin’ Cajuns that owned a OBP over .340.

One of the top offensive performers for Louisiana in 2018…Posted the second-highest batting average of the year at .311 (69-for-222)…One of two Ragin’ Cajuns batting over .300 in 2018…Tied for the most hits (69) and the second-most runs scored (46)…Had 38 RBI and three home runs…Recorded 20 multi-hit games and 7 multi-RBI games…Saw two, four-hit performances against Little Rock (4/22, 5/23)…Hit two doubles against Arkansas State (3/29)…Scored a season-best three runs in the Sun Belt Tournament against Little Rock (5/23).

High School
Bourgeois went to Notre Dame High School where he played for Tony Robichaux’s twin brother Tim Robichaux earning All-State honors in 2014 and 2015. Earned district MVP honors from 2013-15 and was named the district MVP in 2015. Hit. 470 as a junior and .340 as a senior with the Pioneers. Bourgeois also played football for Notre Dame earning All-State honors in 2013 and 2014.
