2009

Was statistically the Sun Belt's best pitcher, finishing with a 1.98 ERA, a full point lower than any other pitcher...Allowed just 13 earned runs in 59 innings, holding opposing batters to .259 hitting...Posted two saves upping his career total to 11, one shy of school's career mark...In Sun Belt Tournament, held eventual champion Middle Tennessee to one run in seven innings...Had greatest impact of the season when he was elevated from reliever to starter during the South Alabama weekend series...In six starts, limited opponents to 37 hits over 38 innings pitched and surrendered only three earned runs...Did not allow a home run and sported a miniscule 0.71 ERA.

2008

Had a record nine saves to become the single season saves leader and move into a tie for fourth place for career saves...Became a dominant finisher in 21 appearances, allowing just 19 hits in 31 1/3 innings, picking up three wins...Struck out the side to earn the save in his first appearance as a closer in the season opener...Did not allow any earned runs in save situations against Sun Belt teams....Allowed only two extra base hits...Held opposing batters to a team-best .167 average...Also made an impact at first base with a second-best 195 putouts...Took part in 15 double plays...Hit only .172 in 31 games, but hit a grand slam that ended up being the difference in a 9-8 win at WKU on May 9 to snap a 25-at bat slump...Drove in 10 runs while drawing 11 walks.

2007

Played in 38 games, making 32 starts as a true freshman at first base...Also made 12 appearances on the mound, making three starts...Collected 32 hits with six extra-base hits...Had three home runs on the year including a grand slam...Hit a three-run homer in his first collegiate at-bat...Scored 13 runs and drove in 19...On the mound, he worked 24.2 innings and boasted a 3-1 record...Struck out 19 batters while walking just six...Scattered 28 hits, but just eight extra base hits...Had seven appearances without allowing a run.

High School

Four-year letter winner at Notre Dame in Crowley...Earned All-District honors four times...District MVP twice...Earned All-State honors twice...All-State MVP once...Earned All-Acadiana honors three times.
