Pitched at Marshall University in the 2009 and 2010 seasons...Applied for a hardship waiver due to family reasons, and it was granted by the NCAA making him eligible to play immediately...As a sophomore, made 20 appearances and had a 2-2 record with a 6.23 ERA in 30.1 innings...Against Conference USA opponents had a 2.89 ERA...Made four appearances out of the bullpen as a freshman...Totaled 2.1 innings and recorded a strikeout.
