2004: One of 58 student-athletes named to the 2005 Brooks Wallace Award Watch List…Wallace Award is given annually to the nation’s best college baseball player…Named to All-Sun Belt Second Team as third baseman...Started 39 games at third base for the Cajuns, until a leg injury sidelined him for the remaining 18 games of the season...Led team in batting average (.373), triples (5) home runs (12) and RBI (51)...Went 6-for-12 with a double, triple, two home runs and 4 RBI against New Mexico State...Named the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week for April 12...Went 2-for-5 with two home runs and 5 RBI against Nicholls State on March 10...A week later, went 3-for-5 with a home run and a career-high 6 RBI against Michigan on March 19...Had 15 multi-hit games...Had a career-high four hits against Siena on March 2 and Northwestern State on April 7....Morris’ .740 slugging percentage is the second highest single-season slugging percentage in school history....Finished second on the team in total bases (111)...Finished second on the team in runs scored (41) and third in hits (56).
