2003: Came on strong
after a slow start, finishing the season batting .297 and
was second on the team with 13 doubles...Had a team-high
three doubles vs. UALR on April 12...Had an eight-game
hitting streak (April 19-May 3)...Hit a game-winning two-run
homerun against Tulane on March 26 to clinch a 9-8 Cajuns
victory...Went 3-for-5 with a homerun and 2 RBIs in a Cajuns
victory over nationally-ranked Lamar on April 15...Went
2-for-3 with a homerun and 3 RBIs against UNO on April 26.
Junior College: Two-year starter for the Dolphins...All-Conference selection with a .380 batting average... Played catcher, pitcher and left field.
High School: Four-year letterwinner for baseball coach Johnny Dragg and a one-year letterwinner in football for coach Alley Smith...Three-time All-District selection with two District MVP awards...Named to the All-Parish and All-Metro teams twice with one All-State selection.
