Conrad was a dual threat at Lafayette High School lettering all four years for the Lions…Hit over .400 as a senior leading Lafayette to the 5A state championship for the second straight season…As a junior, he sported a 9-3 record with a 2.11 ERA and 68 strikeouts in 63 innings, plus hit .423 with 12 doubles, four homers and 27 RBI for the Class 5A runner-up Lions…He was rewarded with first team All-State and All-Acadiana honors in 2010…Conrad led the Lafayette Little League 11-12 year old All Star Team to a semifinals appearance at the 2005 Little League World Series.
