Led all pitchers with 24 appearances...Emerged as the top reliever, posting five saves after April 6...As a reliever over the last five weekends of the regular season held opponents to a .184 batting average and posted a 1.59 ERA...Surrendered only eight earned runs over 29 innings and 12 appearances in Sun Belt play...In SBC play had four relief appearances of three-plus innings in which he surrendered one earned run or none...Posted multiple strikeouts in 13 of 24 appearances...Held opponents to 47 hits over 50 2/3 total innings pitched... Pitched multiple innings in 13 of 24 appearances...Started the Western Kentucky series finale and allowed three hits over four innings...In Division I debut at Nicholls State on Feb. 21, tossed three innings of scoreless baseball...Pitched 3 2/3 innings of relief and held Florida Atlantic hitless through 12 batters faced in series finale...Combined with T.J. Spent two seasons at McClennan Community College in Waco, Texas...Registered 70 strikeouts in 80 innings and finished with a 2.80 ERA in 2009...Participated in the Texas-New Mexico Junior College All-Star Game after striking out 64 batters in 72 innings with a 4.38 ERA for McLennan in 2008...Ended his career with 134 strikeouts - second-most in the Pete Mejia Era at McClennan
