2013 Season
Set school records for both saves in a season and saves in a career with 11 in 30 appearances…Selected to the 2013 Stopper of the Year watch list…Had a 3-2 record with a 4.85 ERA in 42.2 innings…All 30 appearances came in relief…Matched season best with 25 strikeouts...Was the recipient of the 2012-13 Sawyer Camillo Memorial Award…Named to Sun Belt Academic Honor Roll.

Went 3-1 for the second straight season with a 2.92 ERA in 26 appearances… Struck out 25 with only 10 walks…Picked up four saves in 37.0 innings…Helped to complete one shutout on the year…Held the opposition to a .236 average…Had four strikeouts against Southern Miss (March 9)…Earned wins against Towson (Feb. 24), FIU (April 14) and Troy (May 4)…Earned Sun Belt Commissioner’s List and UL President’s List Honors.

Attended Bridge City (Texas) High School and lettered four seasons...Was a four-year varsity starter...Pitched and played shortstop...First team All-District 21-3A pitcher in senior season...Honorable mention pick on the 2010 Texas Sports Writers Association Class 3A All-State team...Top 20 amongst all Class 3A pitchers with a 1.16 ERA and 10 victories...Ranked 8th in all Class 3A with 116 strikeouts...Named District 21-3A co-MVP and was voted onto the All-State team in junior season (2009)...Tossed a perfect game and recorded 136 strikeouts in 87 innings...Finished his junior season 13-3 with a 1.60 ERA...At the plate, hit .372 with 14 doubles and 25 stolen bases...BCHS made the playoffs every season he was in the program, reaching the seminal the last two seasons.
