Thigh injury held him out of the season's first 21 games...Season debut came at FIU (March 27)...In limited action (58 at bats) hit a career-high .328, and posted four doubles for the third straight season...Scored a run in each of the first four games played...Started at third base six consecutive games (April 4-11)...Had two doubles in the Western Kentucky series...Started and posted the game-winning hit in the WKU finale...Double in bottom of the seventh scored Matt Goulas and broke a 5-all tie.
2008
Started 52 games as the Cajuns' everyday shortstop...In 163 at bats, logged 38 hits, including three longballs, two triples and four doubles...Drove in 18 runs, and scored 24 himself...Stole nine of 13 attempted bases and led the team in sacrifices, with four sacrifice flies and 11 bunts...Helped on 17 double plays and registered 124 assists...Stood third in chances (228), three behind Justin Robichaux.
2007
Played in 36 games in his first season of action, making 30 starts...Hit four doubles and a pair of home runs for a .291 slugging percentage...Scored 18 runs on the season while driving in six runs...Drew 11 walks on the year and was hit by three pitches to boost his on-base percentage to .288...Had one sacrifice fly and laid down four sacrifice bunts...Stole five bases on the season in seven attempts...Collected a season-high four hits against FIU on March 31...Two of his four hits against FIU were doubles...Had home runs against Louisiana Tech on March 27 and FIU on April 1.
