Cajuns welcome Cowgirls to Lamson Park after series win over Texas State

LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Softball team finishes its March homestand on Tuesday, March 24 taking on McNeese in a 6:00 p.m. midweek game at Yvette Girouard Field at Lamson Park.
 
The Ragin' Cajuns (19-13) are coming off a Sun Belt series victory over rival Texas State which opened the four-game homestand. The Cowgirls (20-12) were swept by Nicholls in Thibodaux over the weekend, falling to 1-5 on their current seven-game road trip.
 
Tuesday's matchup is the first in a home-and-home series between Louisiana and McNeese this spring. The Ragin' Cajuns return the visit, traveling to Lake Charles on April 21.
 
The contest will be televised on ESPN+ with Dan McDonald and Dawson Eiserloh calling the action. Radio coverage is available on The GOAT 103.3 FM and 1420 AM in the Acadiana region and worldwide on Varsity Network with Cody Junot (pxp) and Bobby Neveaux (analyst) providing commentary.

UP NEXT FOR LOUISIANA
Louisiana travels to Monroe, Louisiana for a three-game Sun Belt Conference series with ULM from Friday-Sunday, March 27-29 at the ULM Softball Complex.
 
The series opener is set for 6:00 p.m. on Friday (March 27). Play continues Saturday (March 28) at 2:00 p.m. and concludes on Sunday (March 29) with the series finale at 12:00 p.m.
