Brief Home Stop Awaits Cajuns Against Northern Iowa

Louisiana returns to Lamson Park for lone home game before extended road swing
LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Softball team makes a brief return to the Hub City on Tuesday, February 24 to meet Northern Iowa in a 5:00 p.m. weekday contest at Yvette Girouard Field at Lamson Park.
The game will stream on ESPN+ with Dan McDonald and Scott Brazda providing commentary. Radio coverage is available on The GOAT 103.3 FM and 1420 AM throughout Acadiana and worldwide on the Varsity Network with Cody Junot and Bobby Neveaux calling the action.
The Ragin' Cajuns (10-6) play the lone home game in their current stretch of 19 out of 20 games on the road. Following the UNI contest, it's a return to the road until the SBC home opener on March 20 vs. Texas State.
It's the first meeting with the Panthers (6-5) since the 2014 season opener (Feb. 7, 2014), also held at Lamson Park.

The first stop is Bryan-College Station, Texas for the Texas A&M Invitational at Davis Diamond from Friday-Sunday, February 27-March 1 with contests against Saint Mary's, No. 13 Texas A&M and Kennesaw State.
The Ragin' Cajuns open play in the tournament on Friday (Feb. 27) facing Saint Mary's at 2:00 p.m. and host-and No. 13-ranked Texas A&M at 7:00 p.m. Saturday (Feb. 28) features a matchup with Kennesaw State and a rematch with Saint Mary's, back-to-back games beginning at 11:30 a.m., then on Sunday UL takes on Texas A&M in the tournament finale at 1:30 p.m.
