Louisiana Falls to No. 41 ODU in Return to Cajun Courts

It was the team’s first home match in almost three weeks
LAFAYETTE – Playing at home for the first time in nearly three weeks, the Louisiana women's tennis team fell to No. 41 Old Dominion, 4-0, on Friday at Cajun Courts.
Old Dominion jumped out and took the doubles point for the early lead, but Louisiana battled in singles. Nine Krecklenberg and Karolina Skowronska won their first sets on courts five and six. Ana Martinez Vaquero bounced back after dropping the first set to take set two on court four.
Martinez Vaquero and Skowronska were in a third set, while Krecklenberg was deep in a close second set when their matches went unfinished, with the Monarchs winning on courts one, two, and three to clinch the match.
The Cajuns remain at home to host James Madison on Sunday, with first serve scheduled for 10 a.m. at Cajun Courts.
