Louisiana Wins Third Match in Two Days

The Cajuns close out the week tomorrow against Southern
SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Louisiana women's tennis team continued its winning ways on Tuesday with a 4-2 victory at Incarnate Word in San Antonio.
Louisiana came away with the doubles point in a closely contested match. Jenaila Prulla and Ivana Castillo earned the win on three, 6-1, but the Cardinals' win on court two evened things. Battling down to the wire, Nina Krecklenberg and Kamea Medora pulled off the 7-5 win on one to secure the point.
The Cajuns continued their strong play on courts five and six. Nina Krecklenberg got things going with her fourth singles win in a row, 6-1, 6-3. Ivana Castillo improved to 4-1 in her collegiate career with a 6-3, 6-3 win to put the Cajuns a point away from clinching. Rocio Navarro won her fifth match of the season and fourth in a row to end the contest, 6-3, 7-6 (7-5).
The Ragin' Cajuns wrap up what's been a busy week tomorrow when they welcome Southern to Cajun Courts at 5 p.m.
