  • Wednesday's game marks the first of six straight against the SBC's western half to end the regular season.
  • The Cajuns look to bounce back from a second MAC-SBC Challenge heartbreaker incurred after Miami (OH) held on for a 60-59 overtime win on Saturday. UL's two losses in the event were by a combined three points.
  • UL is in search of a third consecutive SBC win at the Cajundome. The team is 4-2 at home in SBC play this year.
  • UL has won the last two matchups with Texas State, sweeping in 2023-24, and holds a 13-8 edge in SBC play.
  • The much-needed win last Wednesday brought UL back to the top half of the SBC standings and into a sixth-place tie with Old Dominion ahead of the final six-game stretch which begins on Wednesday (February 12).
  • UL set a season-high in points (92) vs. Marshall and eclipsed 60 points for the 10th time in 12 outings.
  • Louisiana has lost only four times when scoring 60-plus, sporting a 10-4 record when hitting the mark.

  • The 26-point showing vs. Marshall allowed Erica Lafayette to regain her spot as leading scorer in Sun Belt play at 18.2 ppg. After averaging 25.0 ppg the past two games, she has surpassed JMU's Peyton McDaniel (17.0).
  • Nubia Benedith is shooting her best as a Cajun (40.8%) and is approaching 500 points in the uniform (10 away).
  • Erica Lafayette scored at least 17 points each of the first five SBC games, pacing her 18.2 ppg in conference play.
