LAFAYETTE – The November matchups for the 2024-25 women's basketball season MAC-SBC Challenge were announced on Thursday (June 27, 2024), sending Louisiana on the road to face Northern Illinois on Monday, November 4.
Tipoff time for the Ragin' Cajuns-Huskies contest at the NIU Convocation Center in DeKalb, Illinois will be announced at a later date.
The game also serves as the regular season opener for Louisiana (17-14, 10-8 SBC in 2023-24) which will be beginning its 13th season under the direction of head coach Garry Brodhead.
The MAC-SBC Challenge is a scheduling alliance in the sports of men's and women's basketball between the Mid-American Conference and Sun Belt Conference. Each MAC and Sun Belt team included in the MAC-SBC Challenge is guaranteed one home and one away game.
