Louisiana to be Heavily Represented at NCAA East Regional

The Cajuns are sending 19 student-athletes to the regional with a spot in the national championships on the line
LEXINGTON, Kentucky - The Louisiana track and field team will have a heavy presence at the 2024 NCAA East Regional next weekend in Lexington, Kentucky as 19 Cajuns qualified for 20 events.
The list of Cajuns includes Sun Belt Conference Champions Moseiha Bridgen, Blair LaFleur, Javed Jones, and the 4x100 relay team of Trejun Jones, Zakhy Munro, Floyd Pond, and Jamhad Booth. Last weekend at the SBC Championships the Cajuns finished second on the women's side with 115.7 points while the men were third with 99 points.

The regional begins Wednesday, May 22 in Lexington.
