Alejandro Sanchez Gonzalez earned his team-leading 11th singles win on Saturday
YOUNGSVILLE, Louisiana - The Louisiana men's tennis team fell in a close match on Saturday to Georgia State, 4-3, at the Youngsville Sports Complex.
The Cajuns fell behind early after dropping the doubles point. Alejandro Sanchez Gonzalez got Louisiana on the board with a straight-set win and was quickly followed by William Ribero. Samuel Kyjaci put the Cajuns on the verge of clinching with a win on court six, leaving the match up to the final two courts. Louisiana couldn't hang on as the Panthers came back for the win.
The Cajuns are back at it tomorrow morning against No. 70 Georgia Southern on senior day.
