The Ragin’ Cajuns look to get back on track after dropping their last two contests

HARRISONBURG, Virginia - The Louisiana women's tennis team heads to Virginia for their first Sun Belt Conference road trip of the season. They'll start the week against James Madison on Saturday before taking on No. 68 Old Dominion on Sunday.

The Cajuns are led in singles by Carla Urchoeguia with five wins this spring. Nina Krecklenberg has played well in singles of late, winning her last four matches on court six. Paige Duncan is 4-2 in singles on the season, including 3-0 on court three.

Louisiana has been strong in doubles lately, winning three of the last four doubles points. Krecklenberg and Kamea Medora are on a three-match winning streak as a pairing heading into the weekend.

James Madison is 5-6 on the year and 1-1 in conference action. The Dukes had won three in a row before a 4-3 loss at South Alabama last weekend. They've had a difficult early season schedule including matches against No. 12 Virginia and No. 25 Wisconsin. Daria Munteanu and Ines Oliveira led the Dukes in singles with six wins each.

Old Dominion comes in 6-5 and 2-0 in conference play on the year. In non-conference play, the Monarches played a difficult schedule that included three nationally ranked programs. The participated in the ITA Kickoff Weekend where they knocked off Iowa State before falling to No. 3 Oklahoma State. They're led in singles by Lidiia Rasskouskaia's 8-1 record meanwhile Ulyana Romanova has won seven straight.
