Louisiana took a 1-0 lead in the third on John Taylor's sacrifice fly which scored Alexander, who led off the inning with a triple off Jaguar starter Jaden Brasseaux (0-3). Storbakken, who drew a bases-loaded walk to close out the game in the seventh, opened the inning when he drove in Cuff with a double to right to give Louisiana an 11-7 lead. Stelly would eventually add a two-run double for the Ragin' Cajuns before eventually scoring on a wild pitch.
