Ragin’ Cajuns Land 12 on All-SBC Team

Kennedy London and Tyren Hannah earned first team honors as SBC Champions
NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana - The Louisiana track and field squad landed 12 student-athletes on the league's indoor all-conference team announced Thursday.
Individual event champions Kennedy London and Tyren Hannah landed on the first team. London won the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.27, also tying the school record in the process. Hannah took home the gold in the weight throw with a distance of 63 feet 2.25 inches.
Taylor Davis earned second team honors for her performance in the high jump, clearing 5 feet 7.75 inches. Eight men earned a spot on the second team for their efforts in the relays. Reece Shelby, Jarell Joseph, Joseph Patterson, and Peyton Chiasson finished the DMR with a time of 10:05.30. In the 4x400-meter, Caemon Scott, Mekhi Boutte, Antoni Hoyte-Small, and Javed Jones ran a time of 3:13.43.
Rounding out the teams was Trejun Jones who took home a pair of third place finishes. The senior snagged bronze in the 60-meter with a time of 6.79 and followed that with a 21.37 in the 200-meter for another bronze.
Louisiana is back at it with the start of the outdoor season on March 9. The Cajuns head to Lake Charles, Louisiana for the McNeese Cowboy Invite to open the year.
