Cajuns Close September at ITA All-American

The Ragin’ Cajuns won eight matches last weekend in Lake Charles
TULSA, OK - The Louisiana men's tennis team wraps up the opening month of the fall 2023 campaign in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the ITA All-American Championships. The Championships start on September 30 and runs through October 8.
The event begins with pre-qualifying starting with 256 student-athletes. After two days the draw will be cut down to 128 for qualifying before the main draw of 64 beginning on October 4. Doubles qualifying begins October 2 with 64 teams competing for the top spot.
The Cajuns have had a strong start to the fall led by William Ribero. The sophomore has been on a tear to begin the fall, winning five matches last weekend against a combination of competition from Southern Miss, South Alabama, UTSA, and Rice. He capped the weekend with a win over the No. 44 doubles pairing in the country based on last season's rankings.
Mason Landreth picked up a pair of singles wins last weekend at the Lake Charles Invitational while Grant Landreth also earned a singles victory. Samuel Kyjaci picked up a pair of victories in doubles as well.
