Pokuaah Named SBC Women’s Field Athlete of the Week

NEW ORLEANS – Senior Jacqueline Pokuaah was named the Sun Belt Conference Women's Field Athlete of the Week after a fantastic showing at the Leon Johnson Invitational the league announced on Wednesday.
Pokuaah took home a pair of first place finishes in the long and triple jump while also placing herself towards the top of the school record books. Her triple jump of 12.86 meters was the second longest in program history while her long jump of 6.26 meters is the third longest in program history. She wasn't done there as she also placed second in the 100-meter hurdles in 13.90 seconds.
