Louisiana Earns Doubles Sweep in Weekend Opener

ATLANTA, GA - It was a good day for the Louisiana men's tennis team's doubles on Saturday against Georgia State. The Ragin' Cajuns took the first two matches to take the point in their second to last match of the regular season.
Karlo Kajin and Vasil Dimitrov started the day with a 7-6 win on court one. William Ribero and Calin Postea followed with a win on court three, 6-4, to clinch the doubles point. Over on court two, Kacper Dworak and Alejo Ferrer Chueca were tied at five before the match was declared unfinished.
The Cajuns earned a court six win to open singles action with Grant Landreth taking it in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2. After the Panthers earned two wins to tie things, Ribero took the match on court four, 6-4, 6-2, for their third point of the day. The home side fought back to take the match on court two and court one, in that order, in a third set for the 4-3 final in favor of the Panthers.
