Yoshimura Earns Fourth Straight Win in SBC Battle

The junior is one shy of tying her longest streak at Louisiana
TROY, AL. – Momoko Yoshimura earned her fourth straight win on Sunday for the Louisiana women's tennis team at Troy. The junior picked up her seventh win of the spring in the team's final road match of the regular season in Troy, Alabama.
The Ragin' Cajuns started things off with a 6-3 win on court one in doubles. Carla Urchoeguia and Angelique Berrat earned the win, their fourth in Sun Belt Conference play. After the Trojans came away with a win on court two, the doubles point was left to court three. A back-and-forth affair ended in the home side's favor, 7-5, for the point.
Yoshimura got the Cajuns on the board with her win on court five, taking care of business in straight sets, 6-1, 7-6 (8-6). After the Cajuns dropped a close match on court one, Angelique Berrat earned a win on court three in three sets, 7-5, 2-6, 6-4. With the score at 3-2, the Cajun comeback fell just short with the Trojans taking it in the third set on court four. Despite not finishing their match, Lucie Raquin led in the third set over on court two.
