Acadiana-area teachers, grades K-12, can sign up classes to attend free field trip
LAFAYETTE - The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Women's Basketball program is inviting all local-area classrooms, from grades K-12, to attend the program's 10th Annual Education Game on Tuesday, December 19 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cajundome.
The Ragin' Cajuns matchup against LSU-Shreveport - and all games throughout the entire season - is FREE for all to attend.
Schools/teachers who are interested in having their class participate in the field trip can register at RaginCajuns.com/Education. Entries are currently being accepted from now until the day of the contest.
It is a great opportunity for students in the Acadiana region to experience college athletics and get a unique look at higher education.Â
Young fans will be stimulated academically by some entertaining educational programs the University has to offer. Students will receive a t-shirt, activity pack, and a discounted meal deal that includes a hot dog, fries, and drink.
The team is encouraging schools and teachers to sign up their classes to help be part of breaking the all-time attendance record for women's basketball at the Cajundome which currently stands at 3,187 from the 2019 Education Game vs. Mississippi State (Dec. 16, 2009).
