Louisiana Earns Four Wins at Southern Miss Invite

All three competitors earned a win for the Ragin' Cajuns
HATTIESBURG, Mississippi - Thomas Garbarino, Grant Landreth, and Mason Landreth each earned a singles victory over the weekend for the Louisiana men's tennis team at the Southern Miss Invite in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Mason Landreth now has six singles wins this fall, Grant Landreth has two singles wins, while Garbarino picked up his first of the year.
Grant Landreth picked up his win on Saturday against Rasmus Becker from Southern Miss, 6-4, 7-6 (7-3). Garbarino followed that with a win on Sunday against Mark Ambruster of New Orleans in a thrilling three-set match, 6-3, 3-6, 10-7.
Mason Landreth cruised to a 6-2, 6-3 win on Saturday over Pasawee Reansuwong from Southern Miss for his win. He also earned a doubles victory on Sunday with his older brother Grant, holding off Theo Mottier and Braden Hannig from South Alabama, 6-4.
The Cajuns are off to the ITA South Regional next week in Auburn, Alabama beginning Thursday, October 12.
