Women's Tennis Hits the Road to Face Georgia State, Georgia Southern

Team set to play first road contest since Feb. 13
LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Women's Tennis hits the road for the first time in more than month to face off against Georgia State and Georgia Southern. The Ragin' Cajuns will face the Panthers on Saturday at 9 a.m. CT and the Eagles on Sunday at 9 a.m. CT.
The Ragin' Cajuns are coming off a win against Arkansas State last weekend after freshman Carla Urchoeguia came back to win a three-set match. This victory marks a six-straight winning streak for Urchoeguia, giving her a 6-3 record.
Georgia State enters the match with a 9-4 overall record and owns a 5-1 mark at home, while Georgia Southern is just 6-7 overall but also owns a 5-1 home record.
The Cajuns and Panthers are playing for the first time since March 16, 2019, a match the Louisiana won 5-2. The Cajuns and Eagles most recently met on March 15, 2019, with the Eagles claiming a 4-3 win.
