LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Men's Basketball will welcome Texas State to the Cajundome at 7 p.m. Thursday night for the first matchup in the weekly Sun Belt Slate.
The two programs last met on Jan. 15 with Louisiana narrowly falling by a 72-68 margin.
The Ragin' Cajuns are returning home after splitting the conference series against Little Rock and Arkansas State.
Redshirt-freshman guard Kobe Julien, who ranks second in scoring behind sophomore forward Jordan Brown, recorded his first career-double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds against the Red Wolves on Saturday.
Brown kept up his offensive dominance as the Roseville, Calif. native averaged 20 points and 10.5 rebounds in last week's series.
Second-year guard Kentrell Garnett continues to lead the Sun Belt in 3-point percentage. Garnett went 3-5 from beyond the arc in Thursday's contest against Little Rock and is shooting 51.9 percent on the season.

Texas State enters the home contest with a 15-6 record including a 6-3 mark against conference opponents. The Bobcats are led by senior guards Caleb Asberry and Mason Harrell who are averaging 13.9 and 13.2 points, respectfully. Harrell was named to the conference's preseason first-team while Asberry was honored on the second team.
