Louisiana Heads to Monroe to Take on ULM

Ragin’ Cajuns have won 15-straight over Warhawks dating back to 2015
LAFAYETTE – After a thrilling road win at UT Arlington, Louisiana wraps up its 2021-22 road slate on Saturday afternoon when it travels to Monroe to take on in-state foe ULM. Tipoff from Fant-Ewing Coliseum is slated for 2 p.m.
Louisiana enters the contest with a 5-3 record away from home this season and an even more impressive 7-1 record against in-state opposition this year.
Senior Ty'Reona Doucet continues to lead the charge, averaging 12.5 points and 8.9 rebounds per contest. Doucet has produced 10 double-doubles this year, including eight straight, a mark that ranks 39th in the nation.
Behind Doucet and other key offensive contributors, the Cajuns are boast a 45.4 field goal percentage this year. The team's shooting percentage ranks first in the Sun Belt and 21st in the nation.
ULM enters the game on a 14-game losing streak and has lost 15-straight games to Louisiana dating back to 2015. Kyren Whittington leads the Warhawks in scoring, averaging 14.9 points per game.
Saturday's affair will be the 66th all-time meeting between the programs, with the Warhawks owning a 43-22 advantage in the all-time series. However, the Ragin' Cajuns are an impressive 16-4 against ULM under head coach Garry Brodhead.
