Senior caps off historic season with trip to nationals
STILLWATER, Okla. – Louisiana's Sophie Daigle wrapped up a historic 2022 cross country season, finishing 183rd overall at the NCAA Cross Country Championships at the Greiner Family Cross Country Course on the campus of Oklahoma State University.

Daigle, the lone state runner and first-ever Ragin' Cajuns women's athlete to compete in the NCAA Cross Country Championships, covered the hilly, 6K course in 21:12.3. The Donaldsonville native opened in the back of the pack through the first 1.11-kilometers before moving up the field and posting a time of 17:13.4 through 4.93-kilometers.
