Cherubin, Courtois Open NCAA Championships for Louisiana

Four-day meet opens Wednesday at Oregon's Hayward Field

EUGENE, Ore. – Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Track and Field juniors Cole Courtois and Yves Cherubin will look for All-America honors beginning on Wednesday when the 2021 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships begin at Hayward Field.
 
Courtois, making his second trip to the NCAA Championships, will open the competition for Louisiana in the men's pole vault at 7:30 p.m. CT with Cherubin competing in the men's 110-meter hurdles at 8:02 p.m.
 
The second day of the four-day meet on Thursday for Louisiana will feature the women's 4x100-meter relay team of Kennedy London, Ta'La Spates, Serenity Rogers and Kiana Foster competing in the semifinals at 5:32 p.m. CT, with freshman Maria Bienvenu competing in the women's javelin at 6:45 p.m.
