Men’s Tennis to Play Troy, South Alabama in Mobile

LAFAYETTE - Coming off a promising stretch of matches, Louisiana Men's Tennis will face its first two Sun Belt opponents of the season in Troy and South Alabama on Saturday, March 27, and Sunday, March 28, with both matches taking place in Mobile, Ala.
After starting the season 1-7, Louisiana has recently climbed back over .500 with two wins over Alcorn State last weekend. Louisiana's Kacper Dworak and Ivialo Keremedchiev have also entered the ITA Doubles Rankings and sit at No. 29 in the country.
Troy enters the match at 16-1 on the year with its only loss coming to North Florida on Feb. 8. The team is currently riding a 10-match win streak.
South Alabama owns a 4-6 record and has had a two week layoff due to cancelations.
The last time Louisiana beat South Alabama was on January 1, 2015, and the last time the Ragin' Cajuns took down Troy was April 7, 2019, in Lafayette.
