Women’s Tennis Falls to Houston, 4-0

HOUSTON - Louisiana dropped its third match of the season, falling to the University of Houston, 4-0, on Saturday afternoon in Houston.
The Cougars snuck out to an early lead by claiming the doubles point. Louisiana did notch a win at the No. 1 doubles spot. Floriane Picaut and Clara Mantaux beat Houston's pair, 6-2. This is the third doubles match Mantaux and Picaut have won together this season.
Houston sealed the match by winning at the No. 3, 5 and 6 spots in the lineup.
Louisiana is back in action for its first conference match of the season against ULM on March 3.
