Men’s Tennis Starts Two-Game Road Swing in Texas

LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Men's Tennis will continue their season at Texas A&M-CC and University of Texas Rio Grande Valley on Friday and Sunday with Friday's match in Corpus Christi, Texas, starting at 1 p.m. and Sunday's competition beginning at 11 a.m.
Louisiana is 6-4 in its last 10 matchups against Texas A&M-CC, winning twice against the Islanders last season.
The Islanders are a respectable program, entering this match at 6-0 and finishing their 2020 season at 12-6. In 2019, Texas A&M-CC won the Southland Conference Championship and made it to the NCAA Championships before losing to Texas A&M.
As for UTRV, the Ragin' Cajuns have won 10-straight matches against the Valley Vaqueros with the last win occurring in Lafayette in 2018.
The Valley Vaqueros play their first matches on Friday against Our Lady of the Lake and Howard Payne before taking on the Cajuns on Sunday.
