Ragin' Cajuns Crank Up Spring Schedule At Mobile Sports Authority Intercollegiate

Louisiana part of 14-team field that includes two-time defending champ Florida State

First round action of the 54-hole event begins at 8 a.m., with the teams playing 36 holes on Monday followed by the final 18 holes on Tuesday. Live results will be available at Golfstat.com.
Louisiana and host South Alabama are part of a 14-team field that includes three teams ranked in the GolfStat Top 50 – No. 15 Louisville, No. 41 UAB and No. 50 Illinois. Also competing in the event is two-time defending champion Florida State, Chattanooga, Denver, Illinois State, Richmond, Southern Miss, Texas State, Western Kentucky and Wofford.
Jack Tolson, who appeared in all four events during the fall, leads a Louisiana lineup that will include Charlie Flynn, Hudson Dubinski, Hunter Hammett and Peter Hinnant. Junior Bjorn Gudjonsson will compete for the Ragin' Cajuns as an individual.
Louisiana will be paired with Chattanooga, Southern Miss and Western Kentucky during Monday's 36 holes of play.
The event is the first of six for Louisiana heading into the Sun Belt Conference Championships, set for April 26-29 in El Dorado, Ark. The Ragin' Cajuns will follow up their season-opener with a pair of tournaments in the state of Texas before hosting the 35th annual Louisiana Classics on March 16-17 at Oakbourne Country Club.
