Louisiana Adds LSU to 2020-21 Non-Conference Schedule

Ragin’ Cajuns and Tigers to square off in Baton Rouge on Monday afternoon

LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Women's Basketball and Louisiana State have agreed to play a non-conference game at the Maravich Center in Baton Rouge on Monday, Dec. 14, it was announced on Friday afternoon. Tipoff is slated for 5 p.m. CST and will be broadcast on the SEC Network.

The Ragin' Cajuns were originally slated to play its first road game of the season at Southeastern Louisiana on Saturday, Dec. 12, but the contest was canceled due to COVID-19 concerns within the Lions' program.

Monday's matchup will be the first time the two teams have met since Dec. 20, 2018, a game that the Tigers won, 76-54. Louisiana will be looking for its first win over LSU since March 2, 1974, when it won, 48-40.
