RALLY POINTS
- Only two weeks remain in the regular season portion of the 2020 season. Louisiana, presently third in the SBC West, seeks to maintain and possibly improve its seeding for the Sun Belt Tournament set for Nov. 18-22 in Foley, Ala.
- Hali Wisnoskie is rapidly approaching 1,300 career kills – a level reached by only two other players in program history (Nia Kiggundu from 1993-96 and Janaina Gomes from 1998-2001). Wisnoskie enters the weekend with 1,257 career kills.
- Kelsey Bennett has the ability to impact the game both offensively and defensively. This season she has nine efforts of double-digit kills and 13 double-digit dig totals.
- Kelsey Bennett needs 17 kills and one more dig for a second consecutive 200-200 season of kills and digs.
- Louisiana has shown recently that it isn't reliant upon one individual for its offensive production. In the Arkansas State series, each match had a different leader in kills and at least four players scored five or more kills.
- Freshman Lauren Tishkoff burst onto the scene when given her first extended playing time of the season during the Arkansas State series. Tishkoff turned in a season-high 12 kills in the middle match of the series, followed by 11 kills in the series finale. She finished the weekend with a team-leading 3.83 kills per set.
- Libero Hannah Ramirez is one of five individuals in the Sun Belt Conference, and one of only nine on the national level, averaging more than five digs per set this season. Since joining the Ragin' Cajuns in 2019, the Panola College transfer has averaged 4.7 digs per set.
- One season removed from leading Louisiana in double-doubles (with 15), Avery Breaux is tied for the team lead with eight double-doubles. She could have more, as five times she's finished two or less digs shy of the magical mark.
- Avery Breaux is averaging a career-best 11.3 assists per set and has handed out 40 or more assists in nine of 17 matches. She's also helped guide the Ragin' Cajuns to a team hitting percentage of .250 or higher on 10 occasions.
- Kara Barnes leads Louisiana with 54 total blocks (12 BS, 42 BA) and ranks second in the Sun Belt Conference with a .359 hitting percentage. She has posted a .300-plus hitting percentage in 11 of the 16 matches that she's recorded double-digit attack attempts.
