Ragin’ Cajuns searching for fourth-straight road victory
LAFAYETTE – After picking up its third road win of the season with a 24-20 victory over UAB on Friday night, Louisiana Football (4-1, 2-1 SBC) continues its road swing when it takes on Texas State (1-6, 1-2 SBC) on Halloween night with kickoff slated for 7 p.m. on ESPNU.

The Ragin' Cajuns own an official 6-0 record over the Bobcats and are 3-0 all-time in San Marcos. Additionally, head coach Billy Napier owns a perfect 8-0 record over Sun Belt West opponents.

• Levi Lewis has thrown for 1,052 yards through five games this year, good for sixth place in program history for career passing yards (5,064). Lewis is now just the sixth player in program history to throw for over 5,000 yards in his career.
• Additionally, Lewis has thrown 42 touchdowns in his career, good for sole possession of third in program history for career passing scores

• Notched his second kick return touchdown of the season at UAB (Oct. 23), a 100-yard return.
• Smith earned Sun Belt Special Teams Player of the Week for the second time following his performance.
• The return was just the seventh kickoff return for a touchdown by a Ragin' Cajun in the last decade.
• Smith is now the first Cajun since Raymond Calais to produce two kick return touchdowns in the same year.
• Smith, Calais and Darryl Surgent are the only three Ragin' Cajuns to have two or more kickoff returns for a touchdown in their careers in the last 10 years.

• Louisiana's lone active senior wide receiver, Jalen Williams has started in the team's first five games and has tallied 11 catches for 192 yards and two scores.
• With his second receiving touchdown last week, Williams became one of 10 Louisiana receivers to post more than two touchdowns in a single season in the last three years.

• Lorenzo McCaskill continues to dominate opposing offenses, having been credited with 51 tackles on the season. His 51 tackles are the most in the Sun Belt and tie him for 13th nationally in that category.

• Trey Ragas and Elijah Mitchell are two of eight active players in the FBS who have rushed for more than 2,700 yards in their careers.
