Ragin' Cajuns Wrap Up Day One at Warhawk Invitational

Monroe, La. – Louisiana Women's Tennis used stellar play from Dana Radovanovic, Babette Burgersdijk and all of its doubles pairings to highlight the action for the Ragin' Cajuns at the Warkhawk Invitational on Friday.
In the Burgundy Singles Draw, Radovanovic ran through the competition, earning a spot in the finals against Madalina Grigoriu (ULM) on Saturday morning. Radovanovic beat Mikaila Coleman (Grambling), 6-1, 6-1, and UL's Isabella Kierkegaard, 6-4, 6-3, to reach the finals.
In similar style, Burgersdijk clinched a spot in the championship match in the Black Singles Draw and will compete against Daniela Hernandez (ULM). Burgersdijk had a bye in the first round before taking down Jelena Lopicic (ULM), 6-4, 6-2.
The Ragin' Cajuns had eight student-athletes competing on Friday, with seven of eight recording a singles win during the tournament.
Louisiana dominated in doubles play, winning every possible match and setting up an all-Ragin' Cajuns semifinal. Saturday's doubles competition will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by the
final at 11 a.m.
