Men’s Tennis Opens Fall with USTA Futures Event

LAFAYETTE – Louisiana Men's Tennis will start its fall slate at the USTA Futures event in Fayetteville, Ark. The event will take place at the Billingsley Tennis Center, which is located on the campus of the University of Arkansas and run from Sunday, Sept. 16, until Sunday, Sept. 22.
Louisiana will send a young group to the event in Kacper Dworak, Jan Galka, Ivailo Keremedchiev and Stefan Gazo to compete in the event. Dworak and Galka are promising young sophomores, while Keremedchiev and Gazo are both freshmen.
To start the event, the four will be competing the qualifying draw.
Gazo is paired against Austin Williams, Keremedchiev earned the 11th overall seed in the tournament and will go against Jose Dominguez Alonso, Kacper Dworak is slated to compete against Kody Pearson, and Jan Galka earned the 10th overall seed in the qualifying round and will started against Jason Kerst.
