Guidry Claims High Jump Crown At Florida Relays

Griffin, Baudoin post top-10 marks in final day of three-day meet
Frankie Griffin earned a seventh-place finish in the women's high jump (5-7) while Kyle Baudoin finished eighth overall in the men's pole vault after clearing the bar at 16-7 ½.
Guidry, ranked No. 4 in the NCAA East Region and No. 7 nationally, joined Buffalo's Brandon Burke for the overall lead after clearing 6-11 on his final attempt. The Crowley native then cleared his season-best on his first attempt before Burke missed on all three attempts at 7-0 ¼.
Louisiana placed two athletes in the top 20 in the men's shot put with Shaquille Singuineau finishing 15th (52-5 ¼) with Zach Lewis placing 19th (49-7 ¾).
The Ragin' Cajuns men's sprint medley relay team earned a ninth-place finish after crossing the finish line in 3:29.51, with the men's 4x100-meter relay team posting a time of 41.61 and the 4x800-meter squad finishing in 7:47.63.
Louisiana will return to action on Saturday (April 6) when it travels to Lake Charles to compete at the McNeese Invitational.
