Tennis Competes in Final Fall Tournament

LAFAYETTE – The men's tennis program is competing in their final fall tennis tournament at the CCB Collegiate Invitational in Birmingham, Ala. on Nov. 1-3.
 
Louisiana is sending Karlo Kajin, Kacper Dworak, Jamie Fraser and Pierce Gilheany to compete in the tournament. Kajin and Dworak are set to compete in the crimson singles draw, while Fraser and Gilheany are placed in the white singles draw. Dworak and Gilheany and Fraser and Kajin will pair up in doubles.  
 
The teams competing in the event are Alabama, Ole Miss, Tulane, South Alabama, East Tennessee State, Lipscomb, Middle Tennessee, Samford, UAB and Belmont.
 
There will be two rounds of doubles on Friday, two rounds of singles on Saturday and one round of both doubles and singles on Sunday.
 
The tournament is a compass format, with three singles draws of 16 players and three doubles draws of eight teams. Each player is guaranteed four singles and three doubles matches in the tournament.
