Women’s Tennis Set for ITA Southern Regional

LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Women's Tennis team is set to travel to LSU for the ITA Southern Regional starting on Thursday, Oct. 17 and running through Tuesday, Oct. 22.
The Ragin' Cajuns are sending Floriane Picaut and Mariona Perez Noguera to compete in theevent.
Picaut has had a solid fall slate, picking up a singles victory last weekend at the Ragin' Cajuns Classic. Perez Noguera, a Pitt transfer, snatched three wins on the final day of the Ragin' Cajun Classic, one in singles and two in doubles.

Thursday: Perez Noguera vs. Balsen Kaya (Jacksonville State) – Qualifying Singles
Thursday: Perez Noguera/Picaut vs. Garbino/Cueto (ULM) – Qualifying Doubles
Friday: Picaut vs Mariella Minetti (NC State) –Singles Main Draw
